ROGER L. NUTT

 

Roger L. Nutt;  B.Sc, CPhys., MInstP., is a petrophysical consultant in Ormond Beach, Florida. He has nearly 40 years' experience in the oil and gas industry: eight years with Schlumberger as a wireline engineer and manager, nearly 20 years with major oil companies as a petrophysicist and manager of formation evaluation, and ten years as a consultant in petrophysics, formation evaluation and reservoir characterization. For the last six years he has also been an instructor in petrophysics for OGCI, teaching all aspects of open and cased hole log evaluation.

His extensive knowledge has been gained in the Illinois and Kansas basins and the Gulf of Mexico in the United States, Western Canada, Mexico, the North Sea, the Middle East, North Africa and Australia. Mr. Nutt holds a B. Sc in physics (with geology and electrical engineering) from the Royal Victoria University of Manchester.
